The promised relaunch was successful as of about 15 minutes ago.

The URL is still http://rahbooks.virtualave.net, but the site now
looks SO much better (thanks, pixel!). All of the donation/request
emails that were received as of this morning have been incorporated
into the new list page.

For those who are wondering about the PayPal donate button, that is
for the convenience of any people who wish to assist financially in
the move to and support on a paid hosting site (which will mean no
more ads, as well as supporting the site automation that Pixel is
working on now). Please note that NO donated funds will be used for
the benefit of the volunteer staff, but only for hosting expenses. For
those who want to see the donation account records, click the
"Disclosure" link on the left of the main page and follow the
directions.

I hope that the new site proves to be useful to the community of
Heinlein fans.

Do not click on this link, it attempted to install Gator onto my computer.
Also many pop up ads, not cool.

The ads are mildly annoying; so many sites have them nowadays...but
I didn't get Gator installation. What is that?
I'm also certain that any site Don and Teresa have put together will
be safe.
Site looks good; well done, both of you!
I seem to be the only donor at the moment. I'm sure that will change
soon.
(That was a subtle hint :-))

Gator is one of the worst spyware programs that you can get on your
computer. I have no problems with these people and the site, I love the
idea. But they need to recheck the agreement they have for advertising,
because the pop ups are malicious, they show up under the tool bar, and it
does ask if you want to install gator. Also after running adaware (a spyware
remover) it detected gator files on my HD even when I said no to the
install. I plead with the people that set up this site to change the
advertising, or they will loose people interested in the service, I for one
will not go back until they change things. I went to the site several times
today, before I cleaned the gator crap off of my HD, and it did the same
everytime. I would run adaware, and see if you have it now on your computer.
If you have your permissions set to low, it may have installed without even
asking you.

Dan D.

For those who do not care for all the pop-up windows, get yourself a pop-up
stopper from bradmesser.com. Brad's a local talk radio host, and he has links to
most of the major stopper software. Look in the left column of the page.

The direct link is http://bradmesser.com/J2_BonusPages/popkill.htm

Its not the pop up that are the problem, its the malicous Gator that
installs, thats the problem.
