Hi - I read a sf book a (long) while back & really liked it. I'd like to buy it
- but have forgotten the title / name of writer. The story was something like
this:

They (some people & for some reason which I cannot remember) were
timetravelling. They would 'freeze' a city in a 'bubble.' And time would stand
still inside it. Now, on one occasion, someone is left outside the bubble.
That's the crime in this book - I believe. He is left out on purpose by someone
or rather and grows old on his own. And then ... ? Wish I could remember -
that's why I want to buy it.
