I have no idea. I'll ask at Boskone this weekend. There's a book
launch party for the NESFA Press collection of Roger's work. There
should be someone there who will know.
I hope I rememeber.
John Betancourt did post an update here on March 4, 2008, saying that
the book was effectively dead because of disagreements and lack of
communication among the publisher, himself, and the Estate. John posts
all of his messages with the "do not archive" option which is why they
disappear unless someone replies to them.
Chris
Thank you both. Doesnt look good. Too bad, I rather enjoyed the series.
The other thing I could add is that he said he hadn't written it. He
was awaiting a firm contract before writing the book. Consequently, it
isn't a matter of an unpublished book waiting to see the light of day,
but instead a planned book that has not even been written.
And I'm glad Chris saw this. My mental acuity this weekend was pitiful.
I'm just now hoping that I am indeed on the upswing.
