[F] [ANNOUNCE] Reminder/update: London Meets Sanity, sat. 21
Sanity
As announced before, I will be in London (with my girlfriend, who got the
flight to London as a birthday presesent) 20-23 september. This, of course,
calls for a meet. Well, I am calling for a meet. Fortunately, there is stuff
happening that weekend :-)
Date: Saturday 21 September
Locations:
1) Angel station
2) A vegetarian restaurant
3) The Hope and Anchor, Upper Street, Islington, London N1

The meet will start with dinner. According to Eric Jarvis[1] there should be
a nice vegetarian restaurant with decent prices near Angel Station.
This night, Adrian Ogden (AdrianO on #afp) is playing with his band X-Static
as the headlining act at the Hope and Anchor. The time it starts is
incertain, but don't expect it to be early (as they aren't, as thought
before, supporting but they really are the Stars Of The Night). Barry will
have fliers which will give us a discount (and which are, I am pretty
certain, also downloadable from the aforementioned website).
Not being in London or even knowing the city slightly means it's pretty hard
for me to organise anything from over here. The same goes for AdrianO. So
anyone willing to help out is more than welcome. It seems there are buses
going back to my B&B at night, so that is solved (though over an hour
travelling).
As for crash space: I can't offer it, nor can Adrian. I have heard rumours
about GuitarHuw arranging crash space with family, but I don't know the
details.
For those of you not knowing me, see the A-Files and
www.affordable-hedgehogs.co.uk for recent and even recognisable photos. I'll
wear my a.f.p. badge too.
I'd appreciate if you let me know whether you're attending, so we know when
everyone is present and we can advance towards eating. I'm looking forward
to meeting you all!
