After reading a review of Outlander at http://www.bookmoviereviews.com/2009/05/outlander.html
I picked it up and started reading it. So far it is great, and I was
wondering if anyone could suggest other books by Gabaldon.

You're in luck! There are currently 5 more books available in the
"Outlander" series. In order:
Dragonfly in Amber
Voyager
Drums of Autumn
The Fiery Cross
A Breath of Snow & Ashes
Due out in September (woo hoo!) is the next installment in the series,
"An Echo in the Bone".
A companion to "Outlander" is "The Outlandish Companion".
I forget which book the "Lord John" character first appears in, but he
gets several of his own spinoff books (all start with "Lord John..."
in the title.
