Thought that was tomorrow. Or are you just getting in before the rush?

Just getting in before the rush. And, Charlie, I especially
appreciate what your mother must have gone through. Toci

Mothering Sunday in the UK is the equivalent of Mothers' Day in other
countries.

Mothering Sunday is a time when children pay respect to their Mothers.
Children often give their Mothers a gift and a card.

Many churches give the children in the congregation a little bunch of
spring flowers to give to their Mothers as a thank you for all their
care and love throughout the year.

Mothering Sunday (Mother's Day) is always the fourth Sunday of Lent.

Mothering Sunday was 18 March this year

Mothering Sunday

In the times before Bank Holidays
Farmer's boys and servant girls
Left the farm or big house early,
Going home for the day
On Mothering Sunday
Though home was miles away,
With flowers for their mother's present
Gathered as they went.
It's different these days:
All you have to do is stop
At the flower shop
With the pocket money you've saved
And the daffodils there
Came by train or even by plane;
But the present still means the same
For the language of flowers doesn't change.

Andy comments:
If your mother was like my mother.... I would call Howard Wolowitz"s
mother
a saint......
