Hi Gang,
Well the first 19 days of my holiday with Linda were really great,
unfortunately I then developed a bad cough which turned out to ba a
chest infection. I have spent the past four days in hospital and came
home a couple of hours ago. Still on medication but improving.
My best to you all

Sorry to hear you are unwell, Jingles......It has been quite cold during the
night and early morning here in Sydney for the last week or two.....Easy to
pick up a chill with this changing weather!....Mind you, your temperatures
would be much lower than us up here in Sydney I should imagine, Jingles...

I'm happy to hear of the 19 happy days of visiting but not your illness. We "mature" folks sometimes have trouble with stressful changes in our routine. My son wants to plan a reunion of sorts in August here in Oregon and while it will be nice to see everyone, it concerns me too.

Take care of yourself Jingles.

Thank you on both counts <grin>
I am feeling a lot better now that I am home and can get a decent cup of
tea.

I can't even type straight <grin? That should have read "10 days"" She
was only here for two weeks. Now is happy (or maybe unhappily back in
the US.
The weather is not the best here I'm afraid, but an extra jumper
compensates.

("Sorry should be 10 days') I guess we do tend to ignore our
capabilities a bit, especially when we are having fun. On the mend now
though/ Thank you for your kind thoughts.

Thank you Dalin, I am obeying instructions. One nice thing I gained,
the house was immaculate when I arrived home <grin> daughter had left
everything spic and span.

Sadly no! she had to go back to the states while I was in hospital. But
we had a great time while she was here. Maybe in retrospect....too good
a time <grin>
Tell me, as a nurse, why can't hospitals make a good cup of tea or coffee?
(ducks for cover)

Lucky for me that she was, but I guess a bit disappointing for her.
She was a good daughter and spent most of the time with me. I was
delighted to find that she had made a good impression on every person
with whom she came into contact. She is some kid and I am very proud of
her.jingles
