Really! That explains why the book ends so abruptly. Where did you learn
this? Have you read anything about what the fifth novella was supposed
to involve?

I don't have any more information than this. I got the information from an
article or editorial in _Asimov's science fiction magazine_. I'll check to
see if I still have the issue.
