What's really interesting is how the same leftists who condemned
Bush's 'Patriot' Act as Orwellian no longer seem to object to the
government's unconstitutional powers now that it is leftist Barack
Obama and his socialist Democrat political party who are wielding
these powers.
And for all of Bush's flaws, it seems he did not abuse his
unconstitutional powers, since we are all still here after insulting
him for so many years. A real 'fascist dictator' would have had us
all arrested and thrown in dungeons, but Bush ignored our taunts and
even let our drug deals go down without interference. Bush also left
office quietly, as opposed to the way leftist leaders in other
countries rewrite national constitutions to extend their terms in
office indefinitely.
It is the political left that is truly Orwellian, demanding not just
obedience to Chairman Obama, but absolute loyalty and devotion. You
must love Obama. It is not enough to obey him: you must love him.
Even the most minor criticism of Obama is a thoughtcrime that must be
punished, typically by accusing the heretic of 'racism' and letting
the proles stone him to death.

But I didn't support Bush, called for his impeachment for the last 8
years, and voted for Cynthia McKinney. Cynthia McKinney also called
for Bush's impeachment, demanded the immediate repeal of the 'Patriot'
Act, and also opposed the telecom immunity bill that Sen. Obama voted
for.
