If Orwell did any such thing himself it is not in the Complete Works. He

adapt *1984*. Someone else must have done it.
There have been several mentions on this site of *1984* stage
adaptations. One was actually performed at Brown University some time
ago. I do not know if others have been performed.
To reiterate something I posted in May:
"Mark Hamilton seems to be the main representative of the Orwell estate.
Searching under his name and "Orwell" yields an NYU student's website
showcasing the stage art for a play of __1984__ that he apparently
directed at
Brown University. See
http://www.redcubed.com/erk/portfolio/1984/1984.html and
especially http://www.redcubed.com/erk/portfolio/1984/program.html . The
"program" link includes acknowledgments to the Orwell estate, so the
Brown U.
people must have sought & been granted permission. Per this site, the
student's email address is erick...@hotmail.com . From the Brown
Production
Workshop website at http://pw.students.brown.edu/past/ it looks like the
performance was in 1997."
(Alan, can we get this into the FAQ?)

So we have been able to obtain a video of the 1954
play since 1998? I don't think so.
I add my thanks.
