One of the things I'm learning (see
sagemagic.com) is that every time we
reinforce an attitude or reaction by giving into or indulging it, it grows
stronger. Do it enough and it grows stronger than us. So even though some
actions may not "feel" like they make any difference, they make be making
a difference inside us. So if you reinforce "It doesn't make any
difference," that attitude will grow stronger. Are there signs that it's
growing stronger than you want? As is says at the sagemagic site, "If you
want a good garden, don't water the weeds."
