I just made my first trip to N.O. in March. Thanks to those of you
that helped with suggestions about guest houses. I stayed at the
Bourgoyne which was adequate, but not great. I met a wonderful man,
Bob Groggins, who is afiliated with the Lafayette Guest House. He gave
me a tour. It was so lovely I would definitely recommend it for it's
ambience. They also have apartments for rent on Royal which are
marvelous and inexpensive.
After my trip I want to move there even more than I thought I would.
The French Quarter is delightful and the Garden District is more
absolutely incredible. St. Elizabeth's is AWESOME, right on Anne!
