Does anybody recall a television series that ran late night
in the early 80's (could even be late 70's) the starred
Susan Atkinson (I think that's her name)? I cannot think
of the actor that played the vampire. Michael????

Was that Dark Shadows or am I thinking of another series?

Its not Dark Shadows. Could you tell us anything else you remember about
the show. The actress you mentioned, Susan A something, was she in
anyrhing else. What about the other actors on the show? Would we know them
from other series?

I believe you are talking about Susan Anton. The show was Cliffhanger.
It had three differnet storylines running every week. One story invovled
Dracula in the modern world, the story with Susan Anton involved her as a
photojournalist, the third story invovled a cowboy in the 1800's
discovering a futuristic society living underground. Each story ended
with a cliffhanger, hence the title. I haven't thought about this show in
a long time. I used to love it, but I'm sure it would seem a little corny
if I were to watch it again. Maybe we can get the Sci Fi channle to pick
it up.

Are you thinking of THE NIGHT STALKER? It
starred Darren McGavin as a reporter who was
on the trail of one or more undead persons
(it's been so long, I can't remember all the
detais now...) Sometimes the made-for-TV
pilot is shown on late night TV or as a goofy
movie of the week repeat...Very campy, very
funny, and sort of cool. All kinds of situations
week after week where no one would believe
McGavin--even after he turned out to be right
every single time.

Anyway, is that the show?

Darkly,
M.
