The site hasn't been up for at least a week, probably more like two. Is it
at a new address, down for repairs, or just gone?

(DD is a torrent site for docs, food programs, and other uncommon things.)

Thanks

I did see it alive about 7-10 days ago, but not since. So at least this
means it's more likely technical difficulties of some kind.

I'm thinking the EXACT same thing...
Where are the FOOD torrents?
And/or, where can I find any of the Iron Chef America's?
Seems like season 3 is hardly available anywhere. Can someone point me
in the right direction please???

The trough is over there.

Well I know that Mininova.org has quite a collection of Iron Chef

suggestion is MiniNova but your choice, and with any luck Digital
Distractions will be back soon, because they where my first site that
had torrents. And for alternatives to Digital Distractions would be
from my top, MiniNova.org , ThePirateBay.org , and demoinoid.com , but
the last one is a private tracker so its kinda hard to get onto that
one.

Just before it went offline there was a note that Canadian lawyers had
threatened the site with legal action. They cut off all Canadian
traffic and I guess it wasn't enough. I always thought Canadians were
the easy going nice guys of the world. Seems they're having to bow
down to their American neighbours wishes. Freedom!

Well they cut off all Canadian direct traffic and they're still up and
running for anyone else so why do you "guess it wasn't enough"?

OK, let me rephrase that: Demonoid is still up for everyone
(non-Canadians and Canadians who take "steps") except, apparently, you.

If you can't get them and you have a non-Canadian IP, then the problem
is with your setup/connection somewhere along the line. If you do have a
Canadian-IP then you won't be able to reach them by normal means and, if
you choose to, will have to take one of the countermeasures discussed
here recently.

But make no mistake about it - Demonoid is still up.

All I can say is that it's still up as I write this (though I agree, not
with demonoidproxy). Try something else (ultrasurf etc)?

I'd hope so. I'd hate to think my torrents are sitting on a fake demonoid
clone. :)

... When I and Dustin made those comments nearly a week ago, they were
valid. The latest Demonoid situation started since then and has been
widely reported and discussed here.

What's your point?

Your a bit late to the conversation. :) We're already aware of Demonoid's
present situation. And we hope for a full and quick recovery; I have more
movies to seed. LoL.

Well, I miss DD. It was a great site and the only safe source for
really quality shows. I wish there was another no bull type of site
with these shows. I wish Kirin the best in whatever he does.

As for Demonoid, it was always a problem to join and a pain to get
torrents from if you weren't a member.

Good thing the copyright defenders can't shut down TiVo.

Hey,

Hope you're all well

I've just been enjoying some old Ray Mears, ripped by DD

Sad to hear the website's now gone - can anyone recommend some alternative torrent indexers/trackers; notably for UK TV?

Hope to hear back

Kind thanks
