Piratebay not doing sign-ups now?

I tried to sign up so I could start a torrent a few hours back but haven't
got the promised email yet.
(Since the success of Tim Roth's 'Tin Star' I thought I'd watch Skellig
[2009] again. I found half a dozen listings but nothing alive after a few
days of waiting. So I dragged out my old HDDs and went through them and
found a 952MB avi copy. While I was trying to download it I noticed several
people joined the torrent/s I was trying, then dropped out after a while of
getting no data so I thought I'd put ths copy out there. Oh well...)
