Hi, Last winter we had a lot of wrens feeding on the patio. I feed lots of
birds, but the wrens didn't want the bird table, so I soaked some worms
(Yuk) and put them on the patio under an old wire hanging basket with a
brick on the top. Like my cat would go out in the cold, but we do have
strays around. I noticed fewer and fewer coming to feed. I read that they
find it hard to survive the cold. I thought of putting plant pots with lids
in the hedge, with a wren sized hole, and putting my cats fur combings in
them. Will this work, or should I just leave them alone? Sorry if this is
the wrong group, but I've searched lots of unused groups, trying to get
info. TIA.
