I was looking at the McDermott M72A Dubliner cue. I like the wood, and the
wrap. I could do without the shamrocks, but I like the rest of it. Then I
go to Sporting Goods Central, and they classify the cue as a jump and break
cue. I would think that type of cue would be somewhat of a club with that
rating, or at least not the cue you would use a lot, but just for hard
shooting.

What are the types of cues other than jump and break? What designation
would I look for in an all-around cue, one that would be used most commonly
by a player?

Any suggestions similar to the Dubliner in the $400 price range, and with
that style of wood?

Thanks

Steve
