Darkstars Movie Plot Details
Flint is flying high with the Darkstars. There are accusations over mismanagement of public funds donated by the government to the Darkstars. Flint had been spending much of the money on fast cars and fast women. It didn't seem to connect with his thinking that it was for the development of the Darkstars of Earth institution. The chief mugla Ferrin Colos and John Flint are deposed, and Donna Troy becomes recognized as the new leader of the Darkstars. Flint returns to his hometown with nowhere else to go. He is bumped into a caravan park, in a dingy and smelly old caravan. He turns to alcohol. He turns to gambling. He smokes heavily. He snorts cocaine. He ends up in huge debt. He becomes a bum, and stumbles home to his caravan with floozies boasting about his ex-Darkstar status on weekends.
Meanwhile, the troublemakers of Evil Star have been gradually getting the upper hand over Donna Troy. The world is starting to get worried.
The woman stop coming, and Flint is bombed out in his caravan. He becomes depressed. He goes to an Alanon meeting, but he can't quit his boozing.
Meanwhile the trouble continues in the papers and on TV reporting about the struggles of Donna Troy.
Flint is pushed to the edge. He comes to a bridge and throws himself in. He is plunged on the water, but washed up on the edge of the river. The following morning he wakes, with birds pecking at him, and he drags himself home. That evening he watches the TV and sees the troubles of Donna Troy. He settles down and listens to the radio. 'The Radio Saved My Life Tonight' starts playing. Flint decides to be a better man.
The fight comes to America by Evil Star. Donna Troy and her rag tag army of Darkstars are overwhelmed. Flint has found the chief mugla, and they encourage each other.
When the fighting is fierce, Flint and the chief Mugla Ferrin Colos show up in their darkstars costumes.
'Thought you were booted out,' says Donna Troy in the heat of the battle.
'Thought you could use the help anyway,' replied Flint.
'Think you might be right,' replies Donna.
