'Doomsday' asteroid could slam into the Earth on April 13, 2036... but
don't worry, we'll have seven years' warning

Warning comes days after another asteroid shot over the Pacific just
3,400 miles above the Earth’s surface
An asteroid travelling at 23,000mph could crash into Earth on April
13, 2036 killing millions and causing global chaos, scientists claim.

In a plotline taken straight from a science-fiction film, astronomers
in Russia are predicting that the 300-yard-wide Apophis could slam
into the planet in 25 years' time.
But don't panic just yet, as it is extremely unlikely to happen.
So unlikely, in fact, that Nasa has given the catastrophic event odds
of 250,000-to-1 that it actually takes place.

Collision course? Apophis will travel close to Earth in 2029 - but if
it goes through a narrow gravitational 'keyhole', Earth's gravity
could set it on a path to hit the planet in 2036
First, the comet must pass through a narrow gravitational keyhole - a
small region in space that can alter the course of a passing asteroid
due to Earth's gravity - in April 2029 before it can be on course to
collide seven years later.

The force of Earth’s gravity is so great that if the asteroid goes
through the hole its path could be ‘tweaked’ - sending it straight
towards us.

Donald Yeomans, head of Nasa’s Near Earth Object Program office, said
there is a remote chance the asteroid could collide with Earth.
‘The situation is that in 2029, on April 13, Apophis flies very close
to Earth, within five Earth radii, so that will be quite an event, but
we’ve already ruled out the possibility of it hitting at that time,’
he told Life’s Little Mysteries.

‘On the other hand, if it goes through what we call a keyhole during
that close Earth approach then it will indeed be perturbed just right
so that it will come back and smack Earth on April 13, 2036.’

Although Russian scientists are predicting the asteroid may strike
earth in 2036, Mr Yeomans said it is highly unlikely.

Professor Leonid Sokolov of the St Petersburg State University told
the RiaNovosti website: ‘Apophis will approach Earth at a distance of
37,000-38,000 kilometres (per hour) on April 13, 2029.

‘Its likely collision with Earth may occur on April 13, 2036. Our task
is to consider various alternatives and develop scenarios and plans of
action depending on the results of further observations of Apophis.’

Russian scientists held a meeting 14 months ago to look at launching
an operation to knock the asteroid off path.

However, U.S. scientists have estimated the actual chance of it
happening is one in 250,000. Although it is big enough to cause a lot
of damage to the planet it would not bring about the Armageddon.

an operation to knock the Apophis asteroid off course

If it is discovered that Apophis is on course to crash into the earth,
Nasa would attempt to take evasive action to change its path. The
easiest way of doing this would be to crash an unmanned spaceship into
the asteroid

Read the bible verse below and you will find that it is indeed Apophis
the bible is speaking about.
.(Note:Both Apophis and Apollyon mean "Destroyer"!) A star hits the
earth and it is called Apollyon in Revelation.

Also note in Daniel that the orbit is spoken of a 7 year cycle and in
the last 7 years is the tribulation.

Revelation 9 (New International Version, ©2010)

Revelation 9
1 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had
fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the
shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it
like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened
by the smoke from the Abyss. 3 And out of the smoke locusts came down
on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.
4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or
tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their
foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture
them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the
sting of a scorpion when it strikes. 6 During those days people will
seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will
elude them.

7 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads
they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled
human faces. 8 Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were
like lions’ teeth. 9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron,
and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses
and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers,
like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people
for five months. 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss,
whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is,
Destroyer).

Hence, both dates directly relate to each other since it is the near
miss on 2029 may cause Apophis to instead strike earth exactly seven
years later on 2036.

Daniel 9 (Amplified Bible)

27And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many
for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall
cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and
one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall
come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured
out on the desolator.

Note The time period is in weeks of years so what are they using to
count the weeks of years except the orbit of Apophis.

Again in the bible the last kingdom on earth is destroyed by a flying
stone

Daniel 2

31 “You looked, O king, and there before you stood a large statue—an
enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. 32 The head of the
statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly
and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and
partly of baked clay. 34 While you were watching, a rock was cut out,
but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and
clay and smashed them. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the
silver and the gold were broken to pieces at the same time and became
like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them
away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue
became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.

When is Apophis supposed to hit?

Acccording to thos astronomer:

Villard warns, however, that when Apophis comes screaming by on Easter
Sunday, April 13, 2036, there's no guarantee it won't stray from
course and strike the planet
