New moderator guy, it's customary to block this garbage from the list
due to it being off-topic and Joe's unwillingness to defend his bald
assertions.

I tend to agree to some extent. Most of these kind of posts are simple
preaching from people who don't want to listen, frequently at great
length, usually copied from somewhere and most of them get filtered.
I let this chap post because (a) they weren't very long and (b) on the
second, at least, he used a real name (Joe Elliott). A couple of
people have responded to him.
It is rather difficult to know that Joe won't defend his bald
assertions without actually giving him the opportunity to, (even
though I viewed it as unlikely) and I thought Joe might be worth a
try.
If he posts again I will email him privately suggesting he responds to
comments about his original posts first, as this is not a forum for
preaching.
