If you took all the water from the oceans and all the water from the
polar
caps and some how held it up in the sky and then let it go, would
Noah's
flood story be believable? The water fall for 40 days didn't it? Not
all at
once. So why wouldn't the water just run off into the ocean ravines
rather
than build up and cover mountains. I'm not a scientist but it would
seem to
me that a lot more water would be needed to cover the entire earth
then the
water the earth presently contains. When I read the story a while back
it
sounded to me that the writer intended his readers to believe that the
whole
earth was covered very deeply in water, if so where did all this water
go?There must have been a bad flood of some sort because of all the
different stories, but could it have really been global?
