Operations (ASO) <br>Verizon Wireless – North Valley <br><br>This
full-time Assistant Sales Operations (ASO) position could be
filled at any one of our Northern California Retail Store or
Kiosk locations within our North Valley District. These locations
include: Chico, Fairfield, Elk Grove, Redding, Vacaville, and
Yuba City. <br><br>Existing Northern California Region VZW
employees who would like to transfer to another location within
the region (ASO to ASO), should apply via the Internal Job
Application Process. Please see your manager for details.
<br><br>Duties and Responsibilities: <br>The Assistant – Sales
Operations Support employee is a multi-skilled member of the
retail communications store team responsible for utilizing
effective troubleshooting techniques and retention tools.
Responsibilities also include in-store customer flow management,
customer education regarding equipment and network operation. The
ASO remains current on store operations including handsets and
handset programming, special programs and offerings and technical
procedures. Essential duties include handset programming and
flash procedures. The ASO will work in conjunction with the
retail sales representative to provide support when necessary.
<br><br>Essential Duties: <br>· Analyzes customer handset
challenges and recommends appropriate course of action. <br>·
Assist with daily audit and reconciliation of cash report, bank
deposit and inventory (handsets/accessories) <br>· Process
customer bill payments and assist customers with their accounts
<br>· Flash handsets with new software to upgrade PRL, transfer
phone data, and enhance features and stay abreast of the latest
new products / services. <br><br>Candidate Qualifications:
<br><br>Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of retail
sales/retail customer service experience preferred. Working
knowledge of cellular test equipment. Inventory management
experience. MS office experience is mandatory. Must possess
excellent oral communication, interpersonal and organizational
skills and office administration capabilities; ability to work
effectively as a team member; good analytical skills with the
ability to work in a fast-paced environment. <br><br>Education
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. AA degree in
business, accounting, retail store management or related field,
undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
<br><br>Other Remarks: <br>Must be flexible and available to work
various retail hours as business needs require. (This includes
