Description: OBJECTIVE:
Is responsible for the performance of high quality and timely audits of NCP/Specialty vendors and programs. Is responsible for ensuring that work is delegated to the appropriate team members, reviewing the completed work, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Prepare National Consumer Products (NCP) audit plan, and complete audits of a financial, compliance and operational nature in accordance with the plan.
• Manage workflows and deadlines
• Assist in the ongoing evaluation, development, improvement and refinement of NCP audit programs.
• Coordinate implementation of program revisions internally and with business partners.
• Complete work audit assignments on budget and to defined quality standards.
• Document the NCP/Specialty program system, procedures, and processes.
• Complete substantive testing in accordance with a set audit program
• Identify non-compliance issues and recommend business efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
• Responsible to ensure all significant findings are rectified in a timely manner
• Prepare a management letter on key issues identified during audits.
• Prepare reports to Board and/or Audit committee in a timely manner
Mentoring and Review
• Share knowledge and experience with all team members, and provide feedback, guidance, and assistance with their development.
• Assist in the planning of the teamwork schedule, and delegate work to team members as appropriate. Ensure agreed timelines are met.
• Review the quality of all work papers, documentation, and correspondence produced by the team.
• Gather information about work activities and external conditions affective work, check on the progress of the work.
Administration
• Other duties required by the firm such as training, committee membership, and special projects.
• Keep records of time spent as the basis for evaluating workflow
• Monitor work-in-progress.
• Keep CRMO informed of all schedules and other pertinent information
Education and Experience: bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of progressive experience in audit/compliance with at least 3 years of management.
