We are currently looking for a qualified Director - Corporate Business Development to join our Corporate Development team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY. The Director will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development and be part of CAs Corporate Development team. This team provides strategic planning and transaction execution services to the companys executive leadership and business unit leaders. The group is charged with (a) identifying growth opportunities for the company (b) evaluating acquisitions and other transactions that will assist in capitalizing upon these opportunities and (c) managing the deal execution process. The Director will be expected to work closely with the Vice President and other team members to find, execute, negotiate, close and integrate deals, particularly focusing on the day-to-day management of a transaction. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: . Provide strategic and financial analyses of acquisition targets . Manage day-to-day acquisition and due diligence process and activities . Extensive business, financial and diligence analysis . Build and manage a post-close integration plan . Part of team negotiating purchase and other transaction agreements . Master and evaluate details of each transaction . Communicate with and update key stakeholders, including Vice President, CFO and Executive Leadership Team . Frequent interaction with senior management at both CA and other companies . Build and manage multi-functional deal teams including both CA employees and outside vendors . Business travel of 10-30% Specific experience or attributes which are required include: . Minimum of 3 years of broad Mergers & Acquisition experience . Transaction experience in investment banking, private equity, and a leading strategy consulting firm, law firm or corporate development group required . Strong financial modeling/valuation experience coupled with a keen business sense . Must be rapid learner and possess dynamic interpersonal skills required to interact across all levels within and outside of the company . Experience working directly with operating staff and/or corporate development professionals. Actual operating experience a plus . Information Technology, Software, Internet and e-commerce experience a plus but not required. . Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred) . Entrepreneurial and a strong self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects with limited supervision Our Islandia, NY campus offers many amenities, including: .
