Description: Job Title: IT FINANCE/EXPENSE MANAGEMENT Perform a variety of Expense management functions specific to Enterprise Infrastructure and Architecture (EI&A). Provide expense analyses/reports to Senior Management, internal and external customers. Develop/enhance processes to support the integrity of financial data used in Expense Management.
Responsibilities Present analyses and expense reports of variances, forecasts and budgets to EI&A s management and Tech & Ops Finance Act as liaison between EI&A s Domain representatives and Tech & Ops Finance Coordinate and report on the monthly expense accrual process Validate proper accounting treatment of expense types Support EI&A s yearly planning process EI&A Financial Role is needed to manage all financial reporting of a major initiative that is about to commence
Requirements Extensive experience using MS Excel with significant Pivot table experience MS Access a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to compile, present and communicate data accurately, clearly and concisely Must be able to consolidate data from multiple systems/files Strong process documentation skills Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deliverables Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently Familiar with Client s financial systems and reports such as PeopleSoft, FARO, Cognos PowerPlay
********* is looking for********* Produce software expense forecasts and variance analysis for software budget, actuals, forecast and run-rates
Investigate and respond to inquiries regarding the software budget and forecast
Review and approve requests for new software via the Client procurement tool, providing budget and forecast impact analysis and validation of proper accounting
Support build of annual software budget and perform year-on-year expense trend analysis
Supply Sourcing Team with software budget and forecast information to support price negotiation for new acquisitions
Supply IT Finance with software expense data to enable chargeback billing NOTES: Looking for someone with IT Infrastructure Software exp. (knowledge of products , accounting etc). this is most important. Advanced Excel (expert with macros, pivot tables), job will be very analytical . knowledge in capital expenditures is a plus.nice to haves : in addition to doing the day to day work , someone who is willing to participate with Projects, bring in ideas , for ex. improve how to do things.Soft skills include: someone who asks questions, thinks critically, ability to work under pressure as the person will be heavily involved with month end closings and forecasting which can be a pressure cooker.
