Responsibilities:
The Sytex Group is seeking the skills for an Audio Visual/VTC Operator to manage VTC and the high tech audio/video equipment being installed in conference rooms and a theater. The location of this position is Key West, Florida; this is a full-time position and includes the complete Sytex Group benefits package. Compensation depends on qualifications, education and experience: range 0-65K/year, negotiable. US Citizen with current Secret clearance, eligible for a TS/special access clearance required. Desired Requirements:
Possess exp./training in at least 5 of the following AV systems; PowerPoint,Adobe Photoshop, Visio,NetViz,etc. Knowledge of video switching systems; audio systems-pre-amps,amplifiers, parametric amps, microphones, speakers/systems, maintenance of user accounts, coordination with DVSG/JWICS program offices for wide-area VTC. Exp. w/one of following: VTEL,PictureTel,Intel-Team Stations,or Intel Pro-Share; working knowledge of ISDN,inverse multiplexers, DSU, modems,network connections, routed networks,TC/IP,NT,Electronic Mail,MS Office applications, light tables,laser pointers, projection equipment,podium/lighting controls, etc; AV and video systems set-up/alignment (cameras,projectors,monitors,etc),AV concepts (lighting,aspect rations,font size vs. distance, scan rates,video standards,etc.)
