Optometry/Ophthalmology, Health - Physician, Market
Research/Statistics, Science - Position Summary Coordinates,
designs, conducts and interprets contact lens research studies,
essential to further the understanding of contact lens products
under development. Thoroughly evaluates potential new products to
ensure they meet the proposed clinical requirements prior to
market introduction. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Contributes in the origination or direction of experiments
through the development of methodologies. Perform research of
difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of
identifiable factors. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets data, and
draws conclusions which leads to planning further research.
Summarizes and interprets clinical study data in technical
reports. Coordinates the clinical research activities of R&D
projects. Develops clinical protocols for clinical studies. Stays
abreast of current literature and competitive product offerings.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Good
understanding of wavefront technology applications and analysis.
