Job Description: SUMMARY: Responsible for achievement of Catalina Health Resource revenue goals for assigned accounts including target account for CHR. This position effectively leverages both senior management and Region VP for multi-level account penetration. Responsible for developing and maintaining lasting business relationships with all key decision makers/influencers within pharmaceutical and or OTC clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Achieve annual revenue goals with a focus on opportunities to expand current client business. Develop business plans that strategically maximize revenue within territory. Mediates challenges and maximizes revenue for the organization when dealing with OTC/Rx negotiations. * Design sell and service Health Resource direct-to-patient advertising programs for prescription and consumer brands. * Vertical and horizontal account penetration across all aspects of the business to include marketing sales market research etc. with the goal of developing strong business relationships and strategic alliances. Demonstrates consultative selling skills in enabling customers to drive their business and achieve their objectives. * Account management including program management revenue forecasting budgeting and accounts receivable management. * Develop objective-based programs that achieve predictable measurable results. * Proven success in collaboration with support organizations. Utilize and manage internal resources (Account Management Analytical Services Retail Directors) to better expand current business opportunities. * Provides leadership to sales team through sharing knowledge best practices and perspectives. Acts as mentor for Directors Business Development. Assists in basic training of new or inexperienced DBDs. Utilizes fellow DBDs to share best practices to maximize opportunities for CHR. EDUCATION: College degree or related account management or higher-level sales experience. EXPERIENCE: * 5-8 years sales experience; pharmaceutical sales a plus. Will have an established sales record with appropriate customer relationships and a background that includes any of the following:
* Pharmaceutical or consumer products sales experience * Product management experience * Advertising agency experience (Account Supervisor level and above) * Consumer advertising sales * Trade experience * Capital equipment sales/management * Must have demonstrated ability to close comprehensive large volume sales ($1MM +). * Proficiency in long sales cycle (6-9 months). * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and maintain self-assurance through difficult business situations.
