We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Edison NJ, servicing Bergen, Essex, Passaic & Hudson county areas. As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for designing, configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer networks and related hardware and software on customer premises. You must possess the abilities to communicate with technical resources outside Misys to resolve vendor specific issues. You should be able to recognize incorrect operational techniques on the part of the client and take appropriate measures to educate them on the proper operating procedures.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to communicate well with others. You must also be able to work independently and act professionally in all aspects of this position.

Education/Required Skills:
-AS Degree or equivalent education
-A+ Certification
-Network + Certification
-Knowledge of Windows 2000, and XP
-Knowledge of LAN/WAN and protocols

Desired Skills:
-MCP/MCSE
-Knowledge of Cisco routers & wireless devices(CCNA)
-Windows 2003 Server
-Knowledge of AIX/RS6000
