The IT Security Engineer is responsible for maintaining network and information security and enforcing the corporate security program. The position requires a comprehensive familiarity with the various disciplines and aspects of an IT infrastructure. ul
liManage Firewalls
liManage Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
liRespond to Cyber Incidents and Events
liManage RADIUS user authentication system
liVPN Management and Support
liIdentify IT Risks
liOperating System Hardening
liArchitecture Design, Review, and Analysts/ul
The position requires the following expertise and experience: ul
liA strong knowledge and understanding of common operating system operation, authentication, authorization, and auditing controls.
liA minimum of 2 years LAN/WAN experience.
liA minimum of 4 years OS experience.
liA minimum of 3 years network security experience.
liExtensive experience with the design, implementation, and support of computer networking technologies. Strong experience with systems administration of Windows and Unix servers/workstations and Firewalls including installation, hardening, management, and support.
liPractical experience with security tools required including Nessus, tcpdump, Nmap, Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer, and MS security configuration editor.
liExperience with the design, implementation, and maintenance of secured infrastructures using Firewall, VPN, Router, Proxy, IDS/HIDS, and NOS technologies.
liExperience with custom process automation development with leading scripting and programming languages.
liExtensive knowledge and expertise with network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, IPSEC, HTTPS, SSL, SSH, SFTP, DNS, SMTP, PPTP, PPP, SMB, IPX, SNMP, RADIUS, and RIP. /ul
