Responsible for the port capacity management of the Switched Ethernet Services Backbone Networks within the footprint. Analyze capacity utilization and trending reports, and initiate capacity relief projects when required. Initiate network build projects based on network plans. Follow through entire project cycle and collaborate with different groups, which include engineering, project management and construction to ensure project completion on schedule and on budget. Provide capacity relief project forecasts for budgeting purpose, and determine network requirement due to customer inquiries.
*****Required Skills:***** Excellent analytical problem-solving skills Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be self-motivated and pro-active Must be a team player and willing to think independently Ability to multi-task, detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills
*****Desired Skills & Experience:***** Previous telecom network engineering experience or knowledge of the telecom network technology a plus. Knowledge of or experience with TIRKS, CCP, BAAIS, switching technology and Ethernet..
