Description: Req ID 10347BR Job Title DOD Information Assurance Engineer Location NJ: Eatontown Profession Information Technology Department Code G023 Purpose In 2011, this position will relocate from Eatontown, NJ to Aberdeen, MD or McLean, VA. In this role, you will apply your security engineering expertise to DOD systems, recommending information assurance solutions, and developing and applying information assurance policy. Key Functions In this role, you will apply your security engineering expertise to DOD systems, recommending information assurance solutions. Required Education/Experience: BS or equivalent and 1 years related experience or MS or PhD or equivalent Desired Education/Experience Must have experience utilizing various network security tools. Experience with the development and acquisition of DoD, Army, or DoD Agency information systems. Required Skills: Must have strong network security experience. And familiarity with DOD and Army IA policy is required. Desired Skills Strong security engineering background. Travel Statement *This position will require overnight travel up to 10 % of the time. Clearance Statement *Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, MITRE will consider only applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
