JOB DESCRIPTION
VWR is seeking a dynamic leader for out North American Apparel & Lab Animal Science categories. In this position, you will plan an instrumental role in ensuring that our Pharmaceutical Medical Device, Lab Animal Science & Microelectronic, customers have the capability to protect their people and products in sterile and ultra-clean production environments. As the leader of this business, you will have Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility including sales & gross margin generation and the management of the categorys net working capital. You will routinely be engaged with some of the largest companies in the world either in assisting in commercializing their products or playing a consultant role in identifying opportunities for them to improve their business. In this role you will also be the companys point person for identifying new "game changing" technologies in the industry as well as the principle architect of our North American Apparel & Lab Animal Science Strategies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary P&L responsibility for revenues, gross margin & net working capital in a $90MM product category.
Develop & implement comprehensive strategy plan for category.
Lead marketing efforts to drive profitable sales growth through VWRs field sales team.
Manage global sourcing projects to ensure that the correct mix of speed, cost, quality, and innovation is present in the product & supplier portfolio.
Develop & enhance key strategic supplier relationships to improve VWRs competitive position.
Advise Executive Leadership Team on all supplier, customer activities as well as trends in the Production Apparel & Lab Animal Science Markets.

An Undergraduate degree is required.
Masters degree in business, or equivalent experience preferred.
