Universal Community Behavioral Health (UCBH) is the
continuum of the outpatient care system that The Meadows
Psychiatric Center founded in July 1999. At this time,
the facility recognized some of the challenges in rural
areas surrounding the hospital and began a mission to
extend behavioral health services by developing an array
of programs based on community needs throughout
surrounding counties.
UCBH includes programs such as:
• Mobile Crisis
• Outpatient Therapy and Medication Clinics
• Partial Hospitalization for Children and Adolescents
• Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services (BHRS)
Wraparound
• Blended Case Management
• Family Based Mental Health
Our MISSION is to provide safe, high quality, cost
effective behavioral health services throughout our
continuum of care. It is our VISION to provide
individualized patient care aimed toward recovery and to
promote a culture of service excellence.
The Mental Health Professional responsibilities include
providing individual, group and family therapy to
adolescent population. The Case Manager responsibilities
include weekly contacts with patient’s families and
outside agencies, insurance precertification and
on-going reviews, scheduling and completing intakes &
assessments.
Requirements:
Must have a high level of organization, multi-task and
possess effective written and verbal communication
skills. Masters Degree in a Human Service related field
with a minimum of 1-year experience working in a mental
health field, 3-years preferred. Some travel time
required.
