Description: Manage the Human Resource department for a mid-sized manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
*** Facilitate and oversee the annual open enrollment for employee health benefits.
*** Develop and implement new employee orientation.
*** Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
*** Analyze training needs to design employee development, and required training at all levels.
*** Maintain personnel records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, promotions, raises, and demographics.
*** Identify staff vacancies and recruit as needed.
*** Develop and maintain recruiting sources and methods.
Qualifications:
*** BA in human resource management, business, organizational development or related degree.
*** At least five years of human resource experience in a 100+ employee manufacturing environment.
*** Experienced with local, state, and federal employment laws and practices.
