Position may be located in Morris Plains, NJ, or Irving, TX. Responsibilities include: *Managing the daily activities of the disaster recovery process so that Fiserv can respond and recover from a disaster in the most efficient and timely manner. *Developing, implementing, and managing the disaster recovery plan that secures Fiserv and client data and systems. *Developing and implementing disaster recovery project plans. *Conducting contract negotiations with clients and third-party vendors and maintains communication with vendors in critical situations. *Ensuring disaster recovery programs meet client and state regulatory requirements. *Establishing testing methodologies and coordinating the periodic testing and revision of recovery programs. *Conducting disaster recovery and emergency response training for internal staff and external clients. *Managing the development and documentation of policies and procedures so that systems users understand and follow procedures in their daily work and in the case of an emergency.
Qualifications, include: Education: BA or BS in computer science or equivalent. Disaster recovery certification required. Job Experience: Minimum of five years progressive disaster recovery experience. Management Experience: Minimum of three years experience in leadership and project management. Functional Skills/Knowledge: *Advanced knowledge of the organization, and industry. *Strong planning, organization, analytical and problem-solving abilities. *In-depth knowledge of how Fiservs existing technology can address our customers needs. *Strong knowledge of the new technologies emerging in the financial data processing industry. *Able to demonstrate adaptability. *Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and presentation skills. *Able to see how Fiservs new or existing applications or enhancements will position the company within the transaction processing industry. *Able to motivate others, and be client focused. *Demonstrates strategic thinking and possesses good business acumen.
