Requisition: <br> 122714 <br> <br> Duties and
Qualifications: <br> Works on problems of diverse scope where
analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable
factors. Performs technical analyses to determine present and
future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and
summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition
activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc.
Assesses risk, strategic impact and short and long term needs.
Identifies and evaluates fundamental problems for major
functional areas through assessment of intangible variables.
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on
matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or
customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or
gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations
<br><br>Requires BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or business
or equivalent training. MBA, CPA or CMA preferred. Minimum of 4
years of experience in Accounting or Finance. Can identify core
issues from abstract information. Able to communicate information
clearly and concisely. Knowledge of modern financial theory and
financial analytical tools and methodologies. Familiar with key
accounting concepts underlying financial and valuation analysis.
Is sought out by others to provide expertise regarding financial
implications of organizational operations, issues and strategies.
Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels
within the organization, using tact, common courtesy, persuasion,
and discretion to achieve objectives. Able to present ideas
effectively to individuals or groups and to express ideas and
information clearly. Familiar with the capabilities of the
company accounting and financial systems. Familiar with other
systems outside the finance organization and how they
interrelate. Thorough knowledge of desktop software packages
designated as necessary to the job. Manages business processes
and may be responsible for overseeing people and/or resources.
Applies project management skills to achieve goals. Responsible
for resource allocation and performance management.
<br><br>Additional requirements: 3 years Business Planning and
forecasting experience required. Strong communication and
presentation skills of complex information required. Business
case development/financial modeling experience required
(including NPV, payback, OCF analysis). Strong applications
(Excel, Word, Access) and Decision support database experience
required. Customer segmentation planning, reporting and analysis
a plus. Experience with competitive and pricing positioning
analysis a plus (including model development). Cellular revenue
and product planning and analysis experience preferred. <br>

Qualifications: <br> Participate in the forecasting and budget
process for a variety of West Area expenses. Develop area and
regional models used as inputs and outputs for budgeting and
forecast process. Assist in preparation of planning and forecast
presentations for senior management. Prepare monthly financial
and operating statistics and analysis including: cost center
reports for various functional groups, regional benchmarking and
area benchmarking. Provide ad hoc analysis and monitoring as
needed to review customer and financial data to support proposed
and current business decisions. <br><br>Candidate Qualifications:
<br>5+ years of financial analysis and/or budget experience
required. BS/BA in Business, Finance, or Accounting required.
CPA, CMA, or equivalent experience preferred. Financial modeling
skills required. Understanding of the cellular industry and
associated business drivers preferred. Working knowledge of
PeopleSoft General Ledger and use of planning database preferred.
Strong leadership skills required. Advanced communication
skills, both written and oral, required. Solid proficiency in PC
based applications, such as, MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint. <br>
