Description: Laurel Center, Genesis HealthCare, is a 160+ bed skilled nursing/rehabilitation center with a sub-acute unit and an assisted living wing. We are located in rural Hamburg, PA; in northern Berks county near the Schuylkill county line. Laurel Center is conveniently located near I-78 and Route 61. We offer a stable management team and provide excellent care as evident by our survey results.
Laurel Center is seeking a part-time 11-7 RN Supervisor. The schedule for the position is 4 days/pay and includes an every other weekend/holiday commitment.
This employee has the responsibility for coordination of total customer care. RN Nursing Supervisor performs responsible supervisory and professional work in directing and coordinating all nursing units. The individual must have had advanced training and broad nursing experience including supervisory duties. The work requires administrative ability, knowledge of training techniques, ability to adapt techniques and procedures in accordance with unusual situations, and the exercise of initiative and good judgment. The work is carried out according to standards of professional nursing practices, center policies, rules and regulations, and State and Federal standards.

The RN Nursing Supervisor must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and there must be current registration with the professional board of nurse examiners of the state.
Experience in the nursing field, especially in geriatric.
Supervisory experience in long term care is required.
