Description: · Responsible for management of all SunGard Network Services expenses. This includes monthly
expenses from carriers and all maintenance/support contracts on Network equipment.
· Manage codification of all existing and new Network expenses.
· Responsible for the audit of all Network Services expenses and business justification.
· Responsible for on going Network Services inventory management.
· Management of Network Services vendor contracts and analysis.
· Reconcile and monitor Network inter-company account activity.
· Responsible for annual Network Technologies expense budget process and completion.
· Compare actual monthly Telecom expense with forecast and budget. Provide
detailed variance reporting.
· Manage monthly telecommunications reporting and analysis process, including the booking of
accruals and reversals of prior month accruals.
· Develop and manage Corporate Governance of new Network Services acquisition.
· Special projects as assigned.
· Must be able to travel a minimum of 10% as the business requires.
College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years previous accounting and telecom experience required.
· Experience with PC’s, Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes. Knowledge of Oracle Financials, BNA, and Hyperion budgeting software preferred.
· Accounting degree or work equivalent preferred, CPA a plus.
· Must be highly analytical and possess a high degree of problem resolution
· Must have previous vendor contract experience, ideally in a telecom environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
· Position requires strong organization skills,
· Ability to work without close supervision and excellent communication skills.
· Applicant must be self-motivated, team player, and able to immediately contribute to a fast paced, deadline intensive environment.
