The Deployment Specialist will be responsible for supporting the sales, service, and customer requirements for post-sales activities involving distribution, mail creation, and inserting solutions services and products: both hardware and software applications. Deployment Specialists will identify and engage resources to efficiently implement solutions that meet customer and business requirements. The Deployment Specialist will be responsible for confirming accuracy/completeness of presale scope artifacts, assigning implementation resources in Siebel CRM / Solution Deployment Management System (SDMS), and contacting the customer to schedule and coordinate implementation activities. Deployment Specialist will host weekly conference calls with assigned offices ensuring progress is made towards implementation and solution acceptance. Upon implementation completion, the Deployment Specialist will notify impacted stakeholders and perform related administrative tasks. Other reporting and administrative duties are also required as assigned. Qualifications
The Deployment Specialist is the primary individual to drive implementation of projects and to ensure all stakeholders are well informed. Knowledge of Pitney Bowes mail creation, distribution, or inserting solutions is a plus. The position will also work to identify new cross-selling revenue opportunities. Travel is not expected to exceed 10% Candidates must have the proven ability to: * Use MS Office applications * Keep multiple technical projects on schedule and under budget * Professionally communicate verbally and in writing to all organizational levels * Communicate relentlessly to proactively keep stakeholders informed * Direct, influence, and persuade the activities of others * Monitor multiple priorities and act when needed * Remain flexible and professional is a fast-paced environment * Creatively solve unexpected business problems and interruptions * Prepare routine and ad hoc reports on time * Accurately maintain project records * CompTIA Project+ certification is desirable
