Job Details: Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation is currently accepting applications for a Senior Major Gifts Officer (Sr. MGO) and seeks a successful, energetic, detail and results-oriented candidate. Individual will be a proactive team member and will work very well with senior level donors, highly specialized physicians, administrators and staff alike. The Sr. MGO will support the Foundation in developing relationships with prospects and donors. In this role, you will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual donors; setting goals and developing plans for an existing assigned portfolio; developing prospects; and conducting associated research. This position reports to the Director of Advancement. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, with at least 5 years of progressive experience in major gifts and/or capital campaigns. Candidate will have a proven track record in successful direct solicitation of gifts $100K and higher. Excellent communication and writing skills a must. Computer knowledge a plus. Writing samples may be requested.
