Description Several positions (first and second shift) open in East Seatauket, NY. Position is responsible for cleaning and pre-weigh duties within the associated areas, in accordance with written and verbal procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning of process equipment and manufacturing areas, weighing of raw materials, process equipment setup, operation and disassembly as well as following detailed Manufacturing Instructions. Also responsible for maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of the work area with respect to department standards, policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).
Qualifications - Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 3 months experience working in a production/manufacturing environment. - Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders/stairs as well as lift and move up to 100lbs in unusual wet or humid conditions. - Ability to follow safety protocols and wear required safety gear. - Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc) and internet. - Mechanical dexterity helpful.
