DIRECTOR OF SECURITY
World-Wide company in need of a Director of Systems Security. This role has
responsibility for developing, maintaining, and publishing corporate
information security standards, procedures, and guidelines. Provides
technical guidance and training to information owners, and IT associates.
Designs and implements programs for user awareness, compliance monitoring,
and security compliance. Is responsible for disaster recovery and business
continuation planning. Reviews the design and implementation of upgrades,
repairs, modifications, and replacements of information security devices or
software. Manages team that ensures appropriate security controls are in
existence and in force throughout the enterprise. Works with executive
management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the enterprise.
Ability to relate business requirements and risks to technology
implementation for security-related issues.
Knowledge of risk assessment procedures, policy formation, role-based
authorization methodologies, authentication technologies, and security
attack pathologies.
Strong communication and public-speaking abilities.
Technical proficiency in security-related hardware and software; ability
to function as a consultant to other IT groups on security matters as a
recognized technical expert.
Banking or Financial experience desireable.
Strong Verbal and written skills required, no visa sponsorship. Excellent
compensation package, including company car provided.
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
