FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

6 month+ contract work*******

Manager will only consider candidates local to San Diego.

Project Manager with 5+ years of experience, and proven skills in enterprise
data warehouse projects. Work with internal customer groups to identify end
user needs and business practices, then translate into functional
requirements for implementation. Excellent business management skills in
facilitating planning, review and design meetings. Ensure project
deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client
expectations. Work with development, infrastructure, business intelligence,
and application support staff to ensure successful implementation and
support. Opportunities include managing tasks for geographically dispersed
project team. Proven project management methodology and Microsoft Project
experience. Proven SDLC experience, including documentation deliverables.
Oracle data warehousing/data marts, enterprise application roll-outs (e.g.,
PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials). Strong verbal and written communication
skills. Strong organizational, planning and management skills. Ability to
multi-task in fast paced environment. Technical DW team located in La Jolla.
Technical BI, source system, business, and downstream applications teams
located in Groton, CT.
