HP Lovecraft Birthday Party Weekend!
Come celebrate the 111th birthday of renowned Weird Tales author H.P.
Lovecraft the weekend of the 18th and 19th of August.
The celebrations kick off with the Lovecraft Independent Film Showcase
at
the Blinding Light!! Cinema, 36 Powell Street, Saturday 18th
of August, from 1.00 .pm. to 6.00 p.m. Cost is $5.00 per screening, or
watch both sets of films for $8.00. Festival participants who are not
already a member of the Blinding Light!! will need to purchase an annual
membership for $3.00. That same evening The Nerve Magazine
is proud to present The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, with
Nunstalker
and Sileophage, starting at 9.00 pm at the Cobalt, 917 Main Street
in Vancouver. Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the door. Sunday
