Anyone planning to come to Denmark should bring as much beer with them as
possible. All the breweries here are controlled by the same company and
all the beer is the same EuroPiss that is popular the world over. The only
relief are the few English run pubs that supply such delights as Guinness
and other imported beers. No Boddingtons with the widget, No Tetleys. Just
Carlsberg and Tuborg which are basically rank! Be Warned!

I wish I had known this information before my holiday travels. I have to
support paul in his statement that the variety of beers and flavor is
quite limited. He gives good advice to be followed by any weary traveler
passing through Denmark.

I would love to bring all the beer that I want, but thanks to those idiots who
voted us out of the European Union, I can't.
But if you think that your beers are so bad, you should try some of the shit
we have here in Norway. But fortunately we have ONE place here in Trondheim
that serves real Guinnes. And in addition some stores sell Murphy's. The only
problem is the price (28.90Nkr (approx. £2.60) for 440ml), a guy could get
brok just for enjoying some pints.
And a word of advice to all you who might be coming to Norway, bring beer (as
much as you are allowed, or dare), because the prices are insane.
A bottle (0.35l) in the stores cost at least £1.00, and on a pub at least
£3.00. And that is for the normal class 2 beer (4.75%).

As a Danish-American, I'd love to recommend some other Danish beers, but I don't know of any!
I can recommend a nice Norwegian beer called Aahner (pretty bottle, too). Those Scandinavians
have taxed themselves out of life's finest pleasure!
