I think that you're really gonna like it. It tastes like sprite or as
some of my friends said, "Lemon Watter"
It really is smooth and unless it gets warm you cant taste any beer
flavor at all. For4 those of you who like to drink and drive, this shit
is for you. It dosen't even look like alcohol at all. This is the man
with the growing gut's answer to life, no beer flavor, no beer breath,
and very few calories. To top it all off, it's the same price a a decent
six pack of beer.
So enjoy, for $5.19 you can enjoy it a lot and feel great about getting
something made by COORS.
Good luck, be safe
zat's it

Ummmmmmmm... not tasting beer flavor is a positive? I thought
that was the main reason do drink beer. It is for me.
All those in favor of drinking zima rather than beer, say aye.
(that oughtta keep it quiet here for a while...)

I have to disagree with you. I tried it this last weekend and thought it
the most disgusting stuff I've tried in years. It tasted more like a beer
cooler. Don't care if it's potent or not; that's not why I drink beer.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a snobbish beer drinker; I normally drink coors
light except on weekends, when I usually splurge for the good stuff (Anchor
Steam a favorite). But this Zima stuff was hideous. Even though it is
supposedly natural, it tasted very chemical to me. Kind of like the
aftertaste of seltzer water. In fact, the taste reminded me a lot of
seltzer water, which is also very disgusting IMHO.
Of course in reading your post over again, maybe you weren't serious.
"...no beer flavor...no beer breath..."? Why drink beer then? A good
Tanquerey and Tonic sounds more like your cup of tea. Lots of potency,
little flavor.

I was in Ft. Collins a couple of weeks ago and happened to have my first
taste of Zima there. My opinion:
(flame on)
You have got to be kidding! Why would you want to pay to drink something that
tastes like "Lemon Watter", weak lemon at that. It doesn't even have as much
taste as a wine cooler. I much more enjoyed the wheat beer from one of your
local breweries. Support your local micro's and quit wasting your time with
that yuppie spritzer.

Umm... First it's "for those of you who like to drink and drive", then you say,
"Good luck, be safe?" Hmmmmm.... Makes ya wonder...

Well... The cop may not smell it on your breath, but it will be detected in a
blood, breath, or urine test... And if you drank a six pack and drove, you
probably will not pass the field sobriety test. Be smart... Don't drive
drunk... Keep the road safe for the rest of us who drink beer for the taste, not
the effects.

OhBeer -- This past weekend I was lucky enough to find Sierra
Nevada Pale Bock in the supermarket. It was lightly sweet and
delicious to the very end. The perfect beer to sit and watch
the sunset in San Diego. Thanks for the info here that set me
on the lookout for this brew. BTW, does anybody know if there
is any viable yeast in this beer. I'd love to culture it but
didn't see any in the bottle as in SNPA.

It seems this is the logical conclusion of the mega-brewing trends of
less and less taste for the money:
bud -> bud lite -> bud dry -> zima
When I worked in Belgium, I used to have a Xerox of a Bud Dry ad on my
office wall. It proclaimed, in HUGE letters:
GREAT TASTE
NO AFTERTASTE
It never failed to draw deep belly laughs from my Flemish coworkers.

: I think that someone has finally made the everclear of beer. Watch out all you light weights, this stuff is great and potent. has anyone else tried this stuff yet?
What, did Coors remove the color from Coors Light? It seems that Coors has
plenty of experience in watered-down beer already...this is the next logical
step, I guess.
