I've had it on tap but the fact that I could get this from a vending machine
before catching a train back to Paris really made my day, too!

Man, you just can't resist that "alternative" spelling, can ya?

Same answers here as on rfdb: standard, run-of-the-mill continental
Pilsner. In a country like Belgium, Jupiler is just a boring
mass-market fizzy yellow lager. Not the worst beer in the world,
maybe, but there is *so* much better to be had there. The fact that
it's just a "vending-machine beer" should tell you all you need to
know.

Nobody You Know
When you ever come back to Belgium again I advise you to try some
Westvleteren 12, Malheur dark 12, Duvel, Gueuze Hanssens, Bush 12
(=Scaldis), Rochefort 8, Delirium Tremens and Nocturnum, Hapkin (yes, still
great !!), Brugse tripel, Rodenbach Grand Cru, Chimay blue, Piraat, Gouden
Carolus Classic, Gulden Draak, Smisje kerst 12, etc.....etc...... and you
will NEVER EVER drink a Juliper again.
A great selection of Belgian beerpubs which offer a good decent choice of
beers are located on my website under Belgian Beerpub Map. Feel free to
explore.....................
Cheers,
