As an avid reader of this newsgroup, this question generally creates
material for all the pretentious beer gourmets. I have tasted some of the
world's finest brews (and micro's for that matter) yet have on occassion
enjoyed a cold cheap beer. American Macro-breweries generally produce
similar, thin, flavorless brews in contrast with the robust taste of a
expensive variety. In any event, I'd suggest avoiding Black Label and any
Miller brewing company beer and steer your purchases in the Coors or
Anheausier Busch direction. Busch and Coors Lite are easy drinking mild
brews - perfect for a nice spring day.

Schafer and Pabst Blue Ribbon aren't so bad, yet Milwakie's Best is a
definate no-no. don't get me wrong, I'm in college so I've drank with the
Beast, but if stuck between two evils why risk tangling with the ultimate
hangover creator... Good Luck. (do they have many American beers in
Singapore?)

I can generally find Keystone in my area for 3.29 a six pack (16 oz). A
couple of six packs will do you in with minumum side effects the next day.
It taste ok, especially after the first six pack and it's cheap

My current cheapie of choice is Keystone. Can't beat those glass lines
cans (or did they drop that silly concept?).

Much smoother than Meister.

Sometimes if your lucky a supermarket will have sixes of white cans
simply marked 'BEER'. This stuff is usually most excellent! Try
Dominics in the Midwest or Safeway on the West Coast.

In the Yookay, Sainsburys Belgian Ale = Boon's Geuze, Sainsburys Trappist
Ale = Koningshoeven Tripel. Their Biere de Garde is good too, but not
as good as Jenlain.
