Does anyone out there have any information on how to get
Double Diamond Ale? I was on vacation in Bermuda and tried
it and I absolutely loved it but since coming back to the States
I have not been able to find it anywhere.

I think that it is brewed in England and imported to Bermuda
or vice versa. I fanyone has any info could they please

A lot of the stores around here in Denton, TX carry it. It seems to me
to be some decent stuff.

Ahh, surely one for the FAQ ! Double Diamond is still brewed by Carlsberg-
Tetley at Burton-on-Trent. The bottled export version can be seen in Allied
(and other) pubs in the UK and much is exported.

The recipe is the same as for Ind Coope's Burton Ale (in cask or canned form)
but the gravity may be different.

Try BW3's if you have them in Cleveland. I know there are two at OSU
that used to carry it on tap.

I bow to your superior knowledge on this. I didn't know that you could
still get it in the UK (though why would you want to??)

However, it CANNOT be the same as Burton Ale. Double Diamond is a
lager, and Burton Ale (as the name suggests) is an ale (i.e. bitter).
It is brewed by a different process using different ingredients.

No, DD is an ale not lager. Skol and Long Life were the equivalent
